Message from the Principal 

  My name is Amy Williamson, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Locust Fork Elementary School in Blount County, Alabama. This year marks my 26th year in education and my 17th year as a school administrator. 

  I am a wife and proud mother of two amazing children. Our son is a Firstie in the United States Naval Academy, and our daughter is a freshman at the University of Alabama. Family is incredibly important to me, and we love spending time together through adventurous outings, sporting events, and anything that gets us outdoors. I am also an avid dog and animal lover and enjoy traveling to new places. Our family has been blessed to travel around the world on mission trips, experiences that have deeply shaped our appreciation for people, cultures, and the blessings we often take for granted.

  Professionally, I hold an Ed.S. in Instructual Leadership and am a National Board Certified Teacher in Reading: Literacy- Language Arts. I am passionate about literacy, instructional leadership, and creating opportunities for every child to succeed. 

  Most of all, I love my students, faculty, and staff and feel incredibly blessed to serve the Locust Fork community. It is a privilage to be part of such an amazing community, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and make a difference each day.
